This is a recreation of the Astronomer career from the Sims 3 Into the Future! If you want your Sim to have a career based on science and the stars, then this is for you!

This career has two branches, Astrophysicist, which focuses on the Logic and Handiness skill, and Space Explorer, which focuses on Logic, Rocket Science and the Fitness skill. There are no chance cards or daily tasks, but the career is available to Teens through to Elder.

Description:

Spending your nights watching the stars has lead to a desire to study the stars! In this line of work you will be paid to do what you love most; stargazing! With the patience and dedication, you could become one of the world’s most famous Astronomers ever!

Level 1: Space Janitor
Ideal Mood: Focused

Objectives: None
Some of the universe’s greatest heroes got their start as lowly Space Janitors, mopping floors and changing out nitrogen filters. You’ve got to pay your dues to reach the stars!

Level 2: Stargazer

Objectives: None
Scrubbing floors was hard work, but you have displayed sufficient moxie for a promotion to Stargazer. Next task; stop Talking About the Cosmos.

Level 3: Planetarium Operator

You know every constellation, but your scientific knowledge is shallow. As an Amateur Astronomer, you’ll entertain your friends with astrology!

Branch One ~ Astrophysicist

Seeking a career as an Astrophysicist means that you will be watching the stars and planets every night. While progress is slow, you have the opportunity to discover new galaxies and go down in history!

Level 6: Star Charter

Amateur astronomy is only for sailors, baby! You’re a Star Charter now, constantly scanning the cosmos for signs of Gamma Ray Bursts.

Level 7: Gamma Ray Technician

Objectives: Logic 6, Handiness 3
Hard work behind the telescope earned you a promotion to Gamma Ray Technician. You may even discover Supernovas while searching the skies.

Level 8: Quantum Theorist

You have been promoted to Quantum Theorist, prising apart the planes of the universe in search of Life on Another Planet! You now knows that there is such a thing… as a Tesseract.

Level 9: Xenobiologist

Objectives: Logic 9, Handiness 4
The stars are exciting, but life on other worlds would blow your mind! You have been promoted to Xenobiologist, investigating Event Horizons and mysterious mineral fragments.

Level 10: Phase 10 Physicist

Objectives: Logic 10, Handiness 5
Whatever your reference frame, you are the planet’s leading authority on astrophysics. As a Unified Field Theorist, your every publication overhauls centuries of scientific thought.

Branch Two ~ Space Explorer

Space; the final frontier. At least for you anyway. Being a Space Explorer is pretty much self explanatory, you will explore the far reaches of space for new and exciting discoveries not yet known to man.

Level 6: Moon Walker

Tired of his / her earthbound toils, you have accepted a Moon Walker job! You can’t wait to explore space’s furthest corners, starting with a Space Station.

Level 7: Prober of Planets

Your dedication to collecting and labeling moon rocks earned you a promotion to Prober of Planets. Try to be gentle with their flaky crusts.

Level 8: Solar Sailor

Light-beam travel is authorized only for elite space explorers. Your recent promotion to Beam Commander brings money, prestige and frequent visits to distant Simulon V!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
3. Cut and paste the file(s) into your Mods folder
Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Need more information?
Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
If you don’t have a Mods folder, just make one.
