Orbless Chandelier for Realm of Magic
I love the chandelier from Realm of Magic, except for one thing – the Orbs, relentless in their glow, often well outside my downsized chandeliers.
I mostly made this because of the downsizing issues, but the effect also sometimes bothered me at the regular size as it’s visible at certain distances when the chandelier itself isn’t.
This chandelier is the same size as the original, but downsizing it no longer causes any Orbs to break containment. It’s not an override because some people may still want to use the Orbs in some builds.
The change was fairly simple to do: I extracted the tuning, looked at the first few lines and found “”effect_name”>gp08_glowing_ceiling_orbs” so I changed the lines before that from “effect enabled” to “effect disabled.” Since it was very easy, it’s probably useful for people who want to make their own Realm of Magic lights that don’t employ those accursed Orbs.
