Decor with a Purpose: Functional Shower Supplies
Continuing my mission to make decorative items useful, I’ve made something more custom than just moving some tuning around. Now when a sim is taking a shower or a bath they have an option to use these body wash and soap objects and get a nice little confidence boost!
These are overrides for EA items, giving them custom tuning. It shouldn’t conflict with anything unless you have something else that happens to modify these objects specifically, but please let me know if you have any problems with it, especially since this is the most complicated mod I’ve uploaded here so far.

Minor Update 10/1:
Added French translation from Candyman.fr
When a sim is taking a shower or a bath they now have an option to use these objects. It won’t add any extra animations on top of the shower or bath animations, but when the progress circle finishes they will get a custom buff based on the toothbrushing buff.
It’s also worth noting that the new strings are in English and French (courtesy of Candyman.fr) only at the moment. I don’t speak any languages other than English nearly well enough to translate them so I welcome any translations that anyone can offer and will credit all translators.
If you’re an object creator and want to use my tuning you totally can. Just link people to my stuff to download it and send me a link to your work if you want me to share it.
Future plans
-I’ve created slotted bathtub overrides as a sort of companion to this but I don’t want to spam a bunch of mods at once so I’ll upload it here in a day or two
-I may make some of these multi-purpose when I get to another mod I have in mind
-Adding this sort of functionality to showers and tubs that have built-in clutter. It’s not as simple as I’d hoped so that’s a future thing.
-If you know of an item I missed let me know (it may be something I decided to use for something else though)
This is a multi-part download:
The “Merged” file contains both a file with all the items and a version separated by pack so you can get only what you want. The “Separate” file is exactly what it sounds like: each item separate with a required TUNING file.
